KU IT offers services for department cable TV (CATV), including activation termination or movement of your existing service.

How to add video content to your Blackboard course from the Knowledge Base.

Desktop Conferencing

Conduct online meetings, virtual classes, and group collaboration where you can share a wide range of content, including Microsoft PowerPoint slides, live and recorded video, Flash movies, live screen sharing, application sharing, audio, and multi-user text chat.

Instructional Production Services

KU ScholarWorks

KU ScholarWorks is a digital repository for scholarly work created by the faculty and staff of the University of Kansas. KU ScholarWorks makes important research available to a wide, public audience and helps ensure its long-term preservation.

Streaming Media & Live Streaming

These two services are available for faculty to add audio and video to courses in Blackboard, and provide the means for on-demand delivery of online multimedia content and live streaming.

Video Conference Directory

The video conference directory provides information about the locations, departmental owners, scheduling and support contacts for video conference units on campus. You must have a KU Online ID to access the directory. 

Other Options

KU Media Productions in the Kansas Union offers fee-based services to connect the KU community with the world by creating professional audio and video programs, multi-point video conferencing and live and on-demand web streaming. There are many creative methods for delivering your content to a larger audience and bringing content experts onto the KU campuses.
