Getting started with desktop conferencing

  1. Adobe Connect Meeting Overview Video
Get oriented with the key features and functionality available in Adobe Connect by watching this five minute overview video.
  2. Test Your Meeting Connection
Make sure your computer is ready to connect prior to the meeting by visiting the Meeting Connection Diagnostic page. The last step of this check is to install the Add-in. If you will not be presenting or sharing your desktop you do not need to install the Add-in.
  3. Configure Your Audio
For presenters, getting your audio (microphone and headset) configured correctly is key to a successful online conference. Watch a two-minute video called Creating a presentation with audio and video to help you set up your audio correctly. A headset is highly recommended for the best audio experience.
  4. Download reference guide
Review and print out the Adobe Connect Quick Start Guides for Participants or Presenters to help you learn about Connect Pro.
  5. Get familiar with your role
Find out what you can do as a presenter/meeting host or as a participant.
