Faculty and staff Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions just $10 per year
Thanks to a new three-year licensing agreement with Adobe, KU faculty and staff can now purchase a home use subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) for just $10 per year. That’s a savings of more than 95% off the standard educational price of $240 per year. A $10 annual license allows installation on two personal devices and can be used by anyone in your household. To purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud license, login to the KU Web Store with your KU online ID and password.
The agreement with Adobe also provides Adobe Acrobat Professional on 100 percent of university-owned computers and Adobe Creative Cloud on 50 percent of university-owned computers at considerable savings over past licensing costs. If you need Adobe Creative Cloud installed on your work computer, please follow your established departmental procedures for software requests.
Until now, Creative Suite was available only in select KU labs, and different labs had different versions. Now under the new agreement, students can access the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud applications in public computer labs across campus. This makes the software more widely available to students, and will alleviate some of the past compatibility issues when students and instructors were working with different versions of Adobe software.
