Description

Respondus helps instructors create and facilitate online exams. There are two separate components to Respondus:

Respondus Exam Creator

Respondus Exam Creator is a powerful software tool for creating and managing exams that can be published directly to Canvas. Respondus Exam Creator users enjoy the ability to create assessments offline using an expanded number of question types (including calculated a algorithmic formats). After setup, Respondus Exam Creator enables one-click uploading to Canvas courses.

Respondus LockDown Browser

Respondus LockDown Browser prevents a user from printing, copying, going to another URL, or accessing other applications during an assessment. If an online exam or assessment requires that Respondus LockDown Browser be used, the exam won’t be accessible with a standard web browser. Respondus LockDown Browser installs a separate program that displays a custom interface and set of features for Internet Explorer or Safari.
