Overview

Departments can request KANS-A-N long distance calling cards, which allow users to make long distance calls on the KANS-A-N network and bill charges back to your department.

KANS-A-N Calling Card Information:
24 Hour Customer Service: 1-800-882-2273
Outside the U.S. - Call Collect: 317-633-5035

Dialing Instructions - Calls from the U.S. and Canada

  1. Dial the State's Toll Free access number: 800-503-2801
  2. Enter your Card Number (10 digit card number and 4-digit PIN)
  3. Enter area code and number, plus the pound sign (#)
    OR: Enter 011 and international number, plus the pound sign (#)

Dialing Instructions - Calls to U.S. or Between Countries

  1. Dial the AT&T Direct Access Number of the country you are calling from**
  2. Enter the state's toll free access number (the 800 number on the front of the card)
  3. Enter your card number (10 digit card number and 4-digit PIN)
  4. Enter area code and number, plus the pound sign (#)
    OR: Enter 011 and international number, plus the pound sign (#)

**Look up access numbers for foreign countries (via AT&T)

There is no to cost to obtain a KANS-A-N long distance calling card.

Call Rates (as of 4/1/15):
Domestic calls: $.065/minute. International rates vary.
