Edwards Campus Classroom Technology Standards

All Edwards campus classrooms come equipped with a projector, computer (which plays DVDs), and laptop connection. All tiered classrooms have ceiling microphones and all rooms have sound systems built in. VCRs are available in some classrooms.


Standard Configurations

Computers:
Windows 10 or 7 OS with Microsoft Office, internet connection, the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox, and Windows Media player, and audio recording capability.


Wi-Fi

Every room has wireless access for your students on "SSID Jayhawk." Guests to our campus may connect to the "KUGuest SSID." You may also request a secure upgraded bandwidth.


Additional Equipment

We have many types of technology that can be brought to your room upon request. The following technology can be set up in your classroom:

  • Overhead projector (for transparencies)
  • Document camera (every BEST classroom has this already)
  • Lecture capture - To record a class, please submit a Lecture Capture Recording Request.
  • Conference phone

To make a request for any additional AV need or to request a computer lab or software installation, just fill out our AV Request Form.
