"Report Message" button helps fight spam and phishing

The KU IT Security Office has activated a powerful tool to help you secure your email and KU at large: the “Report Message” button (see below).

The button reports emails you deem a nuisance or suspicious to Microsoft for review and filtering. The Security Office account at abuse@ku.edu is still available for more serious concerns; for example, if you clicked on a link or opened a suspicious attachment in a message. Added bonus: “Report Message” functionality is also available in Outlook Web App and the Outlook mobile clients!

Thank you for helping keep KU’s network safe and secure!
