Database CreationKU IT Web Services provides custom programming and database integration for web based applications. File Storage OverviewKU IT provides file storage resources to meet individual, group and research needs. Group File StorageKU IT provides departments and campus groups with two options for high performance, easily accessible file storage and sharing: 1) Group File Storage - via KU's Central File Storage service; and 2) OneDrive for Business. Hawk DriveHawk Drive is a web-based file storage system available to KU students, faculty and staff. Please note: Hawk Drive is being retired and KU IT is no longer adding new users or expanding space for existing users on Hawk Drive. Personal online file storage is now available through OneDrive for Business. Internet & Network ServicesThe KU campus data network provides for over 15,000 faculty, staff, and student connections. KU IT is responsible for the engineering, design, installation and ongoing day-to-day operation and maintenance of all internet systems on campus. Personal File StorageKU IT provides faculty and staff with two options for high-performance, easily accessible personal file storage services - Home Drive (Central File Storage) and OneDrive for Business. Students have access to high-performance, easily accessible file storage via OneDrive for Business. Research File StorageResearch File Storage provides easily accessible file storage and sharing services to KU research projects, research groups and service labs. Servers – Hosting & ManagementKU IT maintains a data center for hosting physical and virtual servers. KU campus unit and departments are encouraged to re-locate physical or virtual servers to the KU IT data center. |
