Service Updates

Over the next few days, several of our databases will undergo routine maintenance. The following services will be unavailable during the application of the updates -

6/30/2015 (05:00 - 07:00 p.m.) - Red Hat Satellite server  The service will be unavailable for periods during this time.  Symptoms you might see are:
•    Inability to access https://rhn.ku.edu
•    Inability to update or upgrade packages
•    Inability to install new packages from the Satellite server
•    Inability to register a new server

7/2/2015 (05:00 - 06:00 p.m.) - Mapping software for underground infrastructure (GIS)

7/2/2015 (05:00 - 7:00 a.m.) - Identity Management (authentication will not be affected, only password/account changes will be unavailable.  

7/12/2015 (7:00 - 11:59 a.m.) - ImageNow database.


Holiday Hours

The IT Customer Service Center and the Campus Public Computing Labs will be observing holiday hours for Memorial Day:

Customer Service Center:
Friday, July 3 - Regular hours
Saturday, July 4 - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. (reduced hours)
Sunday, July 5 - Resume regular hours

Budig Public Computing Lab:
Thursday, July 2 - Regular hours
Friday, July 3 - CLOSED
Saturday, July 4 - CLOSED
Sunday, July 5 - Resume regular hours

Computing Labs in Campus Libraries:
Check the Libraries website for holiday hours.
