Technology Support - Faculty & Staff

Technology Support Centers

KU IT provides a diverse range of campus technology support to KU faculty and staff via our courteous and knowledgeable technology support staff. Support staff are managed by KU IT via our Technology Support Centers and conveniently located in close proximity to their customers. Our technology support staff strive to quickly, courteously and effectively meet your technology needs and facilitate the innovative use of technology in support of learning, scholarship and creative endeavor. Technology support staff provide a single point of contact for services including: computer setup and installation, workstation maintenance, application support, peripheral support, network support, personal and group file storage, and technology planning and recommendation.

Please contact your unit/department technology support staff directly for all your campus technology needs. Please visit Technology Support Center for information about your unit/department's technology support team including: team members, contact information, hours, location, and key performance indicators.

Help After Hours & Away From Office:
The KU IT Customer Service Center (ITCSC) primarily supports students, but faculty and staff can also contact the ITCSC for campus technology assistance, particularly for help after hours or when traveling.

Self Help:
The KU IT Knowledge Base is an ever-growing collection of self-help articles about campus technology services. Search by topic or software to find solutions and walkthroughs for common IT tasks and issues.


Technology for Teaching & Learning Support

Classroom Technology Support:

Classroom Technology Support provides support for classroom equipment and hardware, including media classroom troubleshooting. Learn more about Classroom Technology Support.

The KU IT Security Office provides computer security consulting and assessment, training, and information resources related to firewall management, anti-virus software, email encryption and more.
