KU IT offers free training sessions throughout the year to help faculty, staff and students use a variety of software packages more effectively. We have regularly scheduled workshops that are open to anyone, as well as group sessions or individual consultations that can be customized to meet your needs.

|Workshops||Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend training sessions located at various campus labs throughout campus.|
|Desk-side coaching||Meet with a KU IT Trainer and receive customized, one-on-one assistance based on your needs.|
|Department-specific session||Departments can request customized training for their staff. Sessions might range from a one-time workshop to a multi-session training series. This training can take place at the department’s office space, or a training lab can be reserved for the session.|
|Course-specific session||Instructors can request KU IT trainers to lead one-time or multi-session class training workshops on specific software which is required knowledge for that class or a specific assignment.|
|Self-paced online learning||We offer self-paced online instructional materials for some of our services.||
