Description —
Maple is a statistical software package for advanced mathematics. It includes features for interactive algebra, calculus, discrete mathematics, graphics, numerical computation and many other areas of mathematics. It provides a unique environment for rapid development of mathematical programs using its vast library of built-in functions and operations.
Access —
Undergraduate students can access via the Web with KU's VirtualDesktop.
Computer Labs
Students, faculty and staff can access in the following central labs: Anschutz Instruction Center, Anschutz Library, Budig Hall Main Computer Lab, Budig Instruction Center, Budig Small PC Lab, Clark Instruction Center, Fraser Computer Lab and the Watson Training Lab.
Download
Faculty and staff can download the software for campus and home use through KU’s Web store. Installation on a personal computer by faculty, staff and graduate student employees is allowed only when the software is used to support the academic administration, teaching and research functions of the university. The KU Anywhere VPN is required when using a downloaded Maple software while off campus.
