Service Updates
08/30/2015

Since the start of the semester, users have reported issues with some of the tools within Blackboard, including SafeAssign, the Mobile Blackboard App, TopHat, and Outcomes Assessment. We have been provided vital fixes from these vendors which need to be implemented immediately to retain functionality. We will apply these fixes to KU’s Blackboard system during the normal Blackboard maintenance window early Sunday August 30 from 12:01 am – 2:00 am. These fixes will require a system restart and outage during that time. We regret the inconvenience this outage may cause and thank you for your understanding as we work to optimize Blackboard for the remainder of the fall semester.  Please visit our News & Updates page for more information regarding the improvements to the system.

If you have questions or concerns please contact Blackboard Support at blackboardsupport@ku.edu or 785-864-2600 during office hours, or the Customer Service Center after 5 p.m. at 785-864-8080 or itcsc@ku.edu.
