Retiree Technology Help

Most IT services are for current faculty, staff and students. The KU IT Customer Service Center provides limited technology support to KU retirees, primarily related to email and account access.

  • KU password management, including forgotten passwords, account recovery (verification required), password changes
  • KU email access when using Microsoft Outlook
  • Software support for KU software available to retirees

We will give our best effort in supporting the following issues when paired with your KU account. Once we have determined an issue is out of our scope of support, we will provide guidance on next steps. In some cases, you may need to hire external technology support from a qualified professional or company.

  • Outlook troubleshooting for Windows, Mac and mobile devices

  • Thunderbird setup and general configuration
  • Virus and malware support

We are unable to provide support for the following issues. We recommend you contact the specific service provider for your device, software and/or service. In some cases, you may need to hire external technology support from a qualified professional or company.
