Description

A collaboration and communication platform for groups, teams, departments and organizations, Microsoft Teams functionality includes video calls and video meetings. KU faculty, staff and students can quickly and easily create Teams video meetings and invite participants using Outlook.

KU has three options for web/video conferencing: Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business and Zoom. Microsoft Teams is best for online meetings with department work teams and KU colleagues.

Access

Faculty and Staff

Teams is part of Office 365, which is installed on all KU-managed workstations. Office 365 also is available at no cost for personal/home computers.

Students

Teams is part of Office 365, which is available to students at no cost for personal/home computers. Office 365 also is available in campus computer labs.
