Description —
Oracle is used to create, manage and control access to a database, which is used to store and retrieve related information. A database typically resides on a server in a multi-user environment and allows many users to concurrently access the same data. KU uses Oracle for online applications such as Enroll & Pay and HR/Pay.
Departments and research groups can request Oracle licensing for their own use cases.
