Explore the New TDX Knowledge Base
Looking to solve a tech issue? Check out our newly upgraded Knowledge Base. It’s full of step-by-step guides and a section with popular articles for quick answers to common questions. This change is part of the transition from ServiceNow to the new TeamDynamix (TDX) platform, which offers a more comprehensive solution for campus. TDX provides better integration with other KU services, making it easier to access the support and resources you need in one place.
If you need more direct assistance, our IT Customer Service Center is here to help. You can reach them via email at itcsc@ku.edu or by calling 785-864-8080.

Better Wi-Fi is Coming to Campus!
You may notice technicians working in your building, here's some good news — they're likely part of KU IT's major wireless network upgrade initiative. Starting with high-traffic academic buildings like Budig Hall, Wescoe Hall and Capitol Federal Hall, we're launching an ambitious project to enhance wireless connectivity across campus.
This refresh will bring faster speeds, improved bandwidth and enhanced security to over 100 KU buildings. Think better connectivity during video calls, quicker downloads for large research files and more reliable internet access even in crowded spaces.
We’re excited to bring these improvements to your building soon. Thank you for your patience as we work to create a better wireless experience for everyone at KU.

KU IT Establishes Project & Change Management Office
KU IT has restored its Project & Change Management Office (P/CMO). This team will ensure that technology changes on campus not only run smoothly but truly serve our university's goals. When your department needs new technical solutions or when campus-wide updates are coming, the P/CMO team will be there to guide the process, keep you informed and make sure you have the support needed to succeed. Their work helps transform our university culture and community, making KU a better place to learn, work and discover.
Stay Ahead of Scams: Protect Yourself Year-Round
Scammers are getting more sophisticated, especially during certain times of the year. As we head into the new year, watch out for tax-related phishing, Valentine’s Day scams and spring schemes tied to travel or event tickets. These scams often use manipulative tactics to trick you into trusting them, so always be cautious of deals that seem too good to be true.
A recent trend involves scammers reaching out via unsolicited text messages with offers of high-paying remote job opportunities. These messages often create urgency or require upfront payment to “secure” the role. If a job offer seems too good to be true, research the employer independently and avoid sharing personal or financial information.
If you encounter a suspicious email or scam in your KU email, report it by selecting “Report Message” in Outlook or forwarding it to abuse@ku.edu.
