Students: Multi-factor Authentication Coming in 2024

We have already implemented Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA) for KU staff and faculty, and we will rollout Duo for students in spring 2024. When logging in to KU systems, Duo provides an added layer of security by requiring another form of authentication in addition to your KU Online ID and password.

Logging in with Duo is easy and convenient with the Duo mobile app. Duo for students represents an important step in providing consistent and equitable protection across our Jayhawk community. When everyone participates in multi-factor authentication, it strengthens security campuswide.
