TeamDynamix Launches for KU IT Support This December
KU IT is moving from ServiceNow to Team Dynamix (TDX) to better support campus. TDX goes live in the first week of December, with ServiceNow discontinued by the end of that month. For those who will be actively using TDX, a how-to guide is available to help you with signing in, submitting tickets and using the service catalog.
What To Expect
For most individuals, the main change will be the appearance of IT support communications. Starting in December, you will notice a new look:
- A new sender address: "KU Services: KUIT Support tdx-kuit-re@ku.edu"
- A streamlined layout with clear section headers
- Updated ticket numbering format
Why We're Making This Change
After careful consideration of our campus partners' needs, we selected TDX as the solution that best supports the university community. By transitioning from ServiceNow to TDX university-wide, we can avoid the costs of maintaining duplicate systems and better serve the entire campus. While each department has unique needs, TDX offers a flexible solution that fosters collaboration and enhances our overall efficiency and effectiveness.
