Description

System for teaching, learning and engagement between instructors and students. Canvas provides tools and resources for content distribution and communications, including innovative ways for instructors to deliver media-rich course content, encourage student interaction online, provide timely feedback for students and calculate valuable performance and participation metrics. Instructors can post course materials, track and post grades, and provide a variety of ways for students to interact.

 

Access

Students and instructors can access Canvas for free from anywhere they have an internet connection. Login to Canvas with your KU Online ID and password.

After hours and weekend support is available through the KU IT Customer Service Center at itcsc@ku.edu or 785-864-8080.

Training and Tutorials

KU IT offers Canvas training sessions throughout the year to help instructors learn to use Canvas more effectively. Regularly scheduled workshops are open to anyone, as well as group sessions or individual consultations that can be customized to meet your needs.
