Description

Provides statistics and tracking for websites, including how many visits, where they are coming from, what pages they viewed, the technologies they used, etc. All CMS websites can be configured to work with Google Analytics.

Access

NOTE: If you do not already have a Google account and log in credentials you can use for KU-related work, you will need to create one in order to access Google Analytics.

Most KU websites are already connected to Google analytics. To view data and reports for your website, the Site Administrator will need add you as a user to the website’s Google Analytics account. Contact KU IT Web Services at webservices@ku.edu for help with access to Google Analytics.

Logging in to Google Analytics:

  • Go to Google Analytics.
  • Select Sign in and log on with your Google ID and password. (Note: If you already are signed in to Google, you may need to select Access Analytics instead.)
