Description —
KU employees are required to complete IT security training each year to ensure they have the knowledge and awareness to protect themselves and the larger KU community from cyber-threats. The training provides information and practical tips that will help protect KU employees both in the workplace and in their personal lives.
Access —
The IT security awareness training is available in the MyTalent professional development system by selecting the “Take Courses” tile on the home dashboard. If you have already completed the IT security training for the current year, it will not appear under your "Take Courses" tile.
New employees should take the training as part of the onboarding process. Current KU employees are asked to take the training between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 each year.
