Edwards Campus Support Hours

Computer Labs

Open computer labs can be found on the KU Edwards Campus in the "Hawks Nest" (Regents Center 120) and on the first floor east-side lobby in the BEST building. There is a reservable teaching lab in Regnier Hall 364.

Reservation Instructions

KU faculty, staff, and GTAs can reserve the Regnier Hall computer lab by completing the online request form. The Regents Center computer lab cannot be reserved.

Standard Hours

Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday, Closed

*Hours subject to change (e.g., holidays)

Accessibility

There are ADA compliant computers available in the Regents Center "Hawks Nest" computer lab and in the BEST “Open Computing Center” first floor east-side lobby.

Classroom Technology Standards

All Edwards campus classrooms come equipped with a projector, computer, and laptop connection. All rooms have sound systems built-in. CD and DVD players are available in few classrooms.

Standard Configurations

Computers

Windows 10 OS with Microsoft Office 365 suite, Adobe Reader, an internet connection, the latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Chrome and Firefox, VLC media player and Zoom.

Wi-Fi

Every room has wireless access for your students on the JAYHAWK network. Visitors to our campus can connect to the KUGuest network. 

Additional Equipment

We have many types of technology that can be brought to your room upon request. The following technology can be set up in your classroom:

• Overhead projector (for transparencies)
• Document camera
• Lecture capture - To record a class, please utilize Zoom Web Conferencing solution
