Microsoft Skype for Business (previously called "Lync") allows you to communicate and connect with colleagues using chat, voice, video and online meetings through a consistent user experience across computers, laptops, smartphones and tablets.

Please contact your unit/department's technology support staff directly to install Skype for Business on your KU-owned workstation computer.

Request Access: 

KU faculty, staff and students are added automatically to the Skype for Business system and directory. To use Skype for Business, you need to have the software client installed (see download).

Campus Labs: 

Microsoft Skype for Business is installed in all centrally-managed computer labs. To check to see if a lab has Skype for Business, go to the Computer Labs software page and search for "Office 2013" using the drop-down menu.
